RECENT EVENTS
We recently held our Christmas Recital, and our toddlers and primary students did a wonderful job! Our toddlers delighted everyone as they sang “Jingle Bells” while ringing their bells. Our primary students impressed us by performing “Jingle Bells” in both French and English, showcasing all the hard work they’ve put into learning French. We’re already looking ahead to our next celebration—Valentine’s Day!
As a parent of energetic, curious twin three-year-olds, finding the right early learning environment felt daunting until we discovered . From the very first day, it was clear we had found something truly special. The Primary classroom, rooted deeply in principles, has been transformative for our children. We’ve watched them blossom into independent, thoughtful little humans who take pride in their work, care for their surroundings, and show genuine respect and kindness toward others. The Montessori approach has given them the space to explore at their own pace, nurturing their natural curiosity while gently guiding them toward new challenges. It’s incredible to see them develop practical life skills and a real love of learning at such a young age. Just as important, is overflowing with warmth. The teachers and staff create an environment where our children feel safe, seen, and deeply loved every single day. They are greeted with smiles and hugs, and they come home each afternoon beaming with stories about their friends and their discoveries. It is clear they feel secure and cherished, which allows them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Beyond the classroom, the school has become a true community one that embraces and lifts up entire families. We’ve found support, encouragement, and lasting friendships among the other parents and staff. It’s rare to find a place where everyone is so genuinely invested in each child and family’s well-being, but is exactly that kind of place. Sending our twins here has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. We feel endlessly grateful for the nurturing foundation this school is giving them and for the beautiful community that has welcomed our whole family with open arms.
The Willow School has been absolutely amazing for our son. The transition to starting school from being at home all day was very easy because of the warmth and support from teachers and admin. We can already see his growth with communication, social skills, and even at home the way he holds himself. Every day he is excited to go in the classroom and I feel confident that he will be safe, he will learn, and he will be loved.
The Willow School has been a godsend for our family. I was on the verge of quitting my job to stay home because my almost-three-year-old was so miserable at our previous school. Daily drop off had been an emotional nightmare for both of us because he was instantly overwhelmed by the chaos of his former classroom. He reached an age where he was so curious, and it crushed me that his curiosity wasn’t being met with opportunity to learn and do. Despite it being terrifying to change schools in the middle of the year, I was so impressed and charmed by the teachers and staff at Willow, we decided to move both my boys there immediately. On his second day at the Willow School, my son walked into class and waved “bye, Mama” and didn’t even look back at me but when straight to work at a station. This was the same kid who used to bang on the glass of his old daycare’s window crying for me at drop off. The excellent structure, routine, and calmly set expectations have let my son thrive socially, emotionally, and educationally. The biggest difference maker is the teachers. It makes a difference when you have certified Montessori teachers working with kids. And with my younger son, who has only known the Montessori method, we have seen his confidence independence, and social skills grow exponentially.
